Justice is turned around backward, and righteousness stands far away; for truth is fallen in the street, and uprightness can not enter. Yes, truth is lacking; and he who departs from evil makes himself a prey. Jehovah saw it, and it displeased him that there was no justice. -- Isaiah 59:14,15, RLIV.
Ever since Adam sinned, the way of mankind has been a way of injustice, while righteousness (being straight, just) is shown to have fallen in the street. The Law covenant has proven that man, having come under a bondage of corruption, cannot straighten himself out, cannot justify himself. (Ecclesiastes 1:14,15; Romans 8:29-22) The only way that we can become reckoned, counted, imputed (Greek transliterated, Logizomai, Strong's #3049), as justified (made straight, no longer crooked) is through faith in Jesus. (Romans 4:3-24; 5:1,9; 6:11; Galatians 3:6,7,11,24) However, the good news does not end with the few who are justified in this age. There is also the good news of great joy that will yet be for all the people. (Luke 2:10) Thus, those who are now justified and who become sons of God in this age are but a foregleam of that which is to come. Those justified in this age become with Christ the seed of Abraham, which seed is to yet bless all the families of the earth. (Genesis 22:18; 28:14; Galatians 3:16,29) The promised blessing is yet to come, for Satan will be abyssed, so that he will not be able to deceive the nations, his veil covering will be removed from all nations, and then the peoples will be able to learn Jehovah's ways, the ways of righteousnes (straightness), justice. -- Isaiah 2:2-4; 25:6,7; 26:9,10; 2 Corinthians 4:4; Revelation 12:9; 20:3.
