The following is in reponse to a video entitled: "Satan controls JW.ORG of JWS website."
The video is directed towards the Jehovah's Witnesses, but in doing so, reference is made to Charles Taze Russell.
It is claimed that Russell was a liar:
Charles Taze Russell made mistakes, but it would not be appropriate to say that he was a liar. He certainly was not a charlatan. He never claimed to be prophet (indeed, he disclaimed such many times). He never claimed that his works were infallible. He indeed claimed that his conclusions could be in error. He never demanded that one had to accept his conclusions nor did he judge others not to be Christian if they did not accept his conclusions regarding time prophecies or chronology. He disclaimed that he, or the WTS, had any divine authority over other Christians.

Charles Taze Russell, however, was not a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses organization. That organization did not exist in his day. Russell preached against such authoritarianism as is found in that organization. Russell also preached against the kind of Armageddon that is preached by the JWs.

The failure of the "predictions" of Rutherford are discussed, but it is not made clear what Russell taught regarding 1925:
Russell himself had rejected the idea that 1925 held any prophetic significance.

However, it would appear that the very idea of the dead being raised is being attacked. It is the Bible itself that speaks of the resurrection; indeed, it is presented as being the only hope of mankind. If the Bible lies when it speaks of the resurrection of the dead, why then quote from the Bible about Satan being a liar? As Russell said, however, don't believe what he said because he said, but rather believe what the Bible says. It was God Almighty who said that if Adam disobeyed that he would die. Satan told Eve the lie that if she disobeyed her Creator, that she would not die, but that she would become like God. He continues to promote this lie to this very day amongst the vast majority of mankind, only adapted to the "immortal soul" or "immortal spirit" dogmas, neither of which may be found as being presented as being truth anywhere in the Bible.

1975 and Russell's name is again brought up, and although not directly tied with 1975, many could certainly assume that Russell had something to do with 1975 also.
Russell, of course, never mentioned anything about 1975.
The idea of "governing body" is presented, and again Russell's name is brought, and it is not made clear that Russell did not believe in any governing body, nor did he speak as being or representing a governing body, although the WT leadership often misrepresents Russell as representing some such alleged "governing body". The claim was once made that the Board of Directors acted as a "governing body". This, of course, is nonsense. Indeed, if the Board of Directors were acting as a "governing body", then it would have been impossible for Rutherford to have dismissed the majority of the Board of Directors in July of 1917. Just before he died, Russell published a statement in the Watch Tower: "Let it be borne in mind that the [Watch Tower] Society exercises no authority, makes no criticism, but merely gives advice; and that in the interest of the Lord’s Cause and the Lord’s people." -- The Watch Tower, August 15, 1916, page 248.
I do agree that Satan, only limited by God's intervention, is the ruler of the JW org, and all the various denominations and sects that claim to be Christian. This does not mean that there are not still many of God's people in these denominations, and probably will be until they are destroyed. Jesus never authorized such denominationalism or sectarianism. Such demoninationlism or sectarianism will not be permitted to continue into the age to come, after Satan is abyssed.

Many, however, often present a lot of persuasive misinformation concerning Russell and 1914:
