I have been asked concerning Matthew 24:13 and salvation.
In Matthew 24:13, Jesus is not speaking of the initial salvation from sin and death, but rather of salvation as having proven oneself loyal to the end. Until the Christian has "overcome" as Christ overcame, having put on incorruptibility, the Christian, although already saved from the condemnation in Adam (Romans 5:12-19), could still come under the second condemnation of the second death, and thus once he has overcome as Christ has overcome, he can no longer be harmed by the second death. -- Revelation 2:10,11; 3:12. atonement.rlbible.com/?cat=16
