The Photo-Drama of Creation, produced under the direction of Charles Taze Russell, was released in 1914. This production consisted of 4 parts (altogether 8 hours), and was usually shown over a period of four nights. This "Photo-Drama" was the first major screen production that incorporated synchronized sound, moving film, along with color slides. A book by the same name was also published in 1914 which contained many of the slides from the screen production, along with explanatory text. The production was shown in theaters and other places in North America, Europe, New Zealand and Australia. It is stated that in 1914 more than 9,000,000 people had already seen either the full production, or the abbreviated version called the "Eureka Drama."
