He said, "Who are you, Lord?" The Lord said, "I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. Acts 9:5, World English.

Acts 9:5 has been given as proof that Jesus is God. Actually, there is definitely nothing in Acts 9:5 that says that Jesus is Yahweh (Jehovah). Evidently it is being assumed that Saul stated that he spoke to God Almighty, and that God Almighty answered, "I am Jesus". Possibly it is being assumed that "Lord" means Jehovah/Yahweh? Of course, "Lord" does not mean "Jehovah"; as used by Saul, it appears to meant, "Sir". If the word "Lord" in Saul's question meant "Jehovah" or "God Almighty", it would make his question meaningless, since it would have meant that he knew who was speaking to him. His question itself shows that he did not know who was speaking to him.
The textus receptus has added the ho kurios into the expression, making it "the Lord said". While it is true in some cases "Ho Kurios" has replaced the Holy Name, this is not always true. Jesus, appearing as man, however, could be addressed Lord, or the Lord, which signifies "sir", "mister", "master", etc. Application of this title to Jesus does not signify that Jesus is Jehovah.
