The following question has been asked on Yahoo Answers:
Jehovah's Witnesses, are you personally fine with God allowing Satan to kill Job's wife and kids?
My response was:
I am not with the JWs, but, from God's standpoint, all mankind is under the condemnation of death in the sin of Adam. (Romans 5:12-19) He thus has a right to allow the death of anyone under that condemnation.
The marvel of God's love in this is that by condemning all mnakind in one man, only one sinless man would be needed to balance justice, whereby God could remain just while justifiying the sinner. -- Romans 3:26.
But the scriptures say the Jesus is not just the atoning sacrifice of those who believe, but also of the"whole world". (1 John 2:2) Jesus came, not to condemn the world anew, but to save the whole world, so that there is not just the resurrecton of the justified in Christ, but also a resurrection of the unjustified through Christ's sacrifice. -- John 5:28,29; 6:39,40,44,54; 12:47,48; Acts 24:15.
Today, God's has subjected the human creation in Adam to futility, alllowing mankind to experience what it is like to be out of harmony with their creator. -- Ecclesiastes 1:2,13-15; Romans 8:19-22.
Today, God is allowing Satan to deceive the world, so the eyes are veiled. -- 2 Cornthians 4:4; Revelation 29:9.
In that "last day" (lasting 1,000 years) of judgment, God will remove the blinding veil that is spread over the nations (Isaiah 25:7); Satan will be abyssed, so that he will not be able to deceive the world. (Revelation 20:1-4)
During the "last day" of judgment, the world will learn what is right. -- Isaiah 2:2-4; 26:9; 29:23,24.
Job's children who were killed by Satan will thus be raised in the that "last day" of favor, and will learn what is right.
And yet, after having such favor, after having received the benefits of the favor of God offered through the ransom sacrifice of Jesus, after having been enlightened by the truth, there will be some who will willfully refuse to learn to do what is right; such will be cast into the second death, from which there is no salvation, since there is no more a sacrifice for sin. -- Isaiah 26:10; Hebrews 10:26; Revelation 20:14,15.
