In the Old Testament, Jehovah sent many saviors who acted on his behalf; none of these saviors were Jehovah. (Nehemiah 9:27) Likewise, Jehovah can certainly send one as a savior to save the world who is not Himself. Indeed, if Jesus had been Jehovah, then Jesus actually justified sin the flesh rather than condemn sin in the flesh, for such would indicate that for a sinless to continue in obedience to Jehovah, one has to be Jehovah. -- Romans 3:26; 8:3.
As it was, however, Jesus, while he was in the days of his flesh (Hebrews 5:7), had the human glory a little lower than the angels, as did Adam before Adam sinned. (Hebrews 2:9) God especially prepared Jesus' body (Hebrews 10:5) so that it would not be under the condemnation in Adam, thus Jesus in the days of his flesh was not of this condemned world. (Romans 5:12-19) Unlike Adam and all dying in Adam (1 Corinthians 15:21,22), Jesus never fell short of the glory of God by disobedience (Romans 3:23), thereby he brought life and incorruption to light. -- John 3:5; 2 Timothy 1:10.
