As many as will walk by this rule, peace and mercy be on them, and on God's Israel. -- Galatians 6:16.
It should be obvious that Paul, when wrote of "God's Israel" above, he did not mean natural Israel, Israel after the flesh. (1 Corinthians 10:18) Rather, Paul was speaking of all the Israel of faith, who are not simply outwardly Jews, but rather who are Jews inwardly. (Romans 2:28,29) It is this true Israel that is being spoken of in Revelation 7, who are said to be made of 12 tribes, which are unnumbered, and and from the unnumbered tribes are taken 144,000, who are later pictured as standing on Mount Zion with Jesus. (Revelation 7:1) Additionally, there is a great multitude who are pictured as being from all nations, tribes, tongues, etc., who come out of the great tribulation.
I believe that the Israel of God actually includes all three classes spoken of in Revelation 7: (1) The twelve tribes (represented by the twelve tribes that left Egypt) (2) Those sealed out of the twelve tribes (represented by the firstborn who left Egypt, who later were represented by the tribe of Levi) (3) the great multitude (represented by the great multitude who left Egypt with Israel, but who became integrated into Israel). I believe that it is misunderstanding of scripture when some have limited the Israel of God to only the 144,000.
Nevertheless, no one dying in Adam is going to recieve eternal life anywhere -- on earth or in heaven -- without becoming a new creation, being born again. This includes the whole human race that are dying by means of Adam, since they will all be made alive by means of Christ's sacrifice. -- Romans 5:12-19; 1 Corinthians 15:21,22.
Those who become counted of the new creation in this age are an exception to the rule, since they do so by partaking of the powers of the age to come, thus to them all things become new, as though they were already in that day when God makes all things new. -- 2 Corinthians 5:17; 1 Thessalonians 5:5; Hebrews 6:5; Revelation 21:1-5.
