I dont know what you are talking about when you claim I adopt many of JW's teaching.

I don't know much about their prophesy reading.

And I don't pay much attention to prophesy teaching of any believers.

it is not a salvation issue at all, it is just their own understanding.

If we are reading or teaching against God and Jesus, whether prophesy or plain daily practice, we will all be judged according to how much we follow their will.

To me, it is wise just to be silent about not-so-clear teachings or writing of the Bible.

thas why I don't appreciate anyone about me claiming to be following JWs teachings about my faith just because I agree with their God and Jesus'identity.

And I disagree with many of their practices.

I try not to compromise with anyone whom I believe is just their own understanding even if they quote the verses.

I follow the overall context of what God and Jesus' will is.

You have been questioning JWs for many years. And I have not seen you do that to any trin posters.




I have told you tons of times that I dont agree with many of the teachings or practices but it is just my own opinion. Jesus says to judge justly. I dont see anything that clearly JWs teachings against "God is one".

I don't criticize anyone for my opinion.

I have actively discussed the subject of the Trinity on numerous occasions. I am banned from two forums because of this. I do not use your method of simply waving a banner, but discuss the actual Scriptures that they use.
I am oblivious to the need for your condescension and this favourite expression of yours. It gives the impression that you claim to be in a favoured position and doing ALL that is the right thing to do. I am relatively content with my position, my faith in the Gospel, my spiritual environment and fellowship, (a very busy day today - Sunday and good company with those of like mind), but always seeing the need and seeking improvement Philippians 3:13-14. Our Memorial meeting visiting speaker this morning actually spoke on Psalm 72 but I would need to look at my notes and listen to the recorded talk that I took on mp3 before I added anything to this thread from what he stated. He spoke for 34 minutes. The first thing he stated is that Jesus is our King, the best King the world has ever seen or will see, and yet people look to other rulers and people in authority.

No, I am not a scholar. In my meeting I am the librarian, and in the last 40 years I have only given two talks at our Bible Class, about half an hour on Psalm 8 and an hour on Isaiah 12. We have many dedicated expositors in our meeting and in our immediate fellowship of eight similar meetings and in our wider Australian and world fellowship. I listen to many mp3 talks and watch/listen to many videos (mp4) from these speakers.

Yes, I have learnt a lot in my 79 years, and 58 years since my baptism, but most of this is because of listening to what is taught and discussed in my environment. Instead of continuing to argue with you I decided to start to listen again to the talk given last Sunday and make some more notes. I think that a summary of the beginning of his talk is sufficient to bring this thread back on track instead of empty and endless squabbling with you.

The following are the brief notes/summary from the beginning of his talk:
Psalm 72 is the mission statement of the incoming King of the world. We have been called to become kings and priests of his future Government and as such we should not partake of present governments and protest movements. This King is unlike any king in the whole course of human history. This King is our King. He has brought us into reconciliation with God, imputed righteousness, forgiving us our sins. We are being prepared now for the future role of kings and priests with Jesus in the Age to Come, when Jesus returns to rule in Jerusalem over the mortal nations for the 1000 years.

He then gives an extensive dissertation of how much of the detail of Psalm 72 applied to Solomon, and then continues:
But we read in Psalm 72:17 aspects that Solomon did not and could not live up to:
Psalm 72:17 (KJV): His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
Despite the greatness of Solomon, the above is one aspect that Solomon could not fulfill.
