Denying Christ and the Trinity
I have been accused of denying Christ since I do not add to the scriptures that God Almighty is three persons, and that Jesus is a person of God Almighty.
I am sure that everyone who belongs to Christ has at some time -- due to the fallen flesh -- denied Christ either by word or action, as did Peter. (Matthew 26:34,75) If the fully enlightened regenerated son of God denies Christ, it would be willful sin, for which there remains no sacrifice to be offered. (Hebrews 10:26) Such would not be a sin of the flesh that does not lead to the death of a regenerated child of God (John 5:17), but a sin that does lead to his death -- the second death, the death beyond the death in Adam. Jesus did offer himself as an eternal sacrifice to God to pay for all sin that is due to the condemnation in Adam, but there is no sacrifice for those who, once having been regenerated and fully enlightened, willfully deny Christ. -- Hebrews 10:18,26-29.
Nevertheless, presenting Jesus as who he himself claimed to be is not denying Christ. Presenting Jesus as being who did not claim to be could be considered as denying Christ. Claiming that Jesus is still a human being of flesh certainly would deny that Christ actually eternally gave his body of flesh to his God to pay for our sins. God sent his Son into this world to save sinners. Jesus did this by offering his sinless body of flesh with its blood as an eternal sacrifice to pay the price of the condemnation that is in Adam. The condemnation would have been eternal had not God provided a way to lift that condemnation. What was needed in such a savior sent by God was that he be human, without sin, and that he, in effect, takes Adam's place, thus taking upon himself the condemnation that is upon Adam and all of Adam's descendants so that the condemnation can be lifted upon Adam and all of Adam's descendants. To do this, God prepared a body of flesh and blood for His Son, and made His Son a little lower than the angels so that His Son could offer that body of flesh with its blood to Jehovah for the sin of the world, thus becoming the savior of the world whom Jehovah sent. -- Luke 22:19; John 1:29; 6:51; 14:19; Romans 5:12-19; 1 Corinthians 15:21,22; 1 Timothy 2:5,6; Hebrews 2:9;10:5,10; 1 Peter 2:24; 3:18; 1 John 4:9-14.
