One person claims concerning Brother Russell: "His false prophecies are well documented."
My response:
Since it is a fact that Russell never originated any professed divinely-inspired prophecies at all, any documentation that allegedly presents anything he said as being prophecies has to be misrepresented. No one has presented any evidence at all wherein Russell says, the word of Jehovah came to me, etc., or that he said, Jehovah appeared to me and said, etc., or that he said anything at all to the effect that what he presented was in any way divinely-inspired prophecies, etc. On the other hand, we have an abundance of testimony from Russell saying that he was not presenting his expectations as being divinely-inspired prophecies, that he was not a prophet, etc.
Russell was not a prophet, and never presented any of his conclusions (based on study of the Bible prophecies) as being "prophecies".
