One has claimed that it was the Son who "talked to the fathers through the prophets."
Let's plug this idea into Hebrews 1:1,2:
Hebrews 1:1 - [The Son}, having in the past spoken to the fathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, Hebrews 1:2 - [the Son] has at the end of these days spoken to us by [The Son's] Son, whom [the Son] appointed heir of all things, through whom [the son of the Son] also [the Son] made the worlds [ages].
The same person, however, claims that it was the Father who made the Son "HEIR OF ALL THINGS, by WHOM ALL WORLDS ARE MADE". Oddly, this directly contradicts the statement before. If it was the Father who made the Son heir of all, through whom the ages were made, this would mean that "God" of Hebrews 1:1, who made his Son the heir, is not the Son, but rather the Father of the Son. The one person who is God who spoke through the prophets of old and who now speaks through His son is the one that is said to be the Messiah's God in Hebrews 1:9; Psalm 45:7; Isaiah 61:1,2; Micah 5:4; Ephesians 1:3.
