One claims that "all things" in John 1:3 refers to absolutely everything in the universe that was ever created.
{John 1:3} All were made through him. Without him not one was made that [or, who] has been made. -- Job 38:4,7; Matthew 24:21; 26:13; John 1:7,9,10; 17:5; Romans 5:12; 1 John 2:2; 5:19.
The word "things" is added by translators. It is not inherent in the Greek word often transliterated as "pas" (Strong's 3956) although many like to make it appear to be so.
If, however, the angels are included, then that would mean that the angels are part of the world that did not recognize Jesus. -- John 1:9,10.
Obviously, the form "panta" used in John 1:3 is not referring absolutely everything in the entire universe in John 1:3, any more than it does so in Hebrews 2:8. Indeed, Psalm 8:5-8 show that panta in Hebrews 2:8 is not referring to absolutely everything in the created universes, but only to things on the earth. Likewise, in John 1:3.
