(3) What is God? (3) The Supreme Creator of all things (Isaiah 45:18)
Alexander Winslow
Although God is indeed the Supreme Creator of all things, perhaps this question should have been worded more specifically, since "God is" much more than just Creator. God is love, God is merciful, God is an all-consuming fire, and much more.
For thus says Yahweh who created the heavens, the God who formed the earth and made it, who established it and didn't create it a waste, who formed it to be inhabited: I am Yahweh; and there is no one else. -- Isaiah 45:18, World English.
This could be speaking of the same "heavens" and "earth" of Genesis 1, which is not referring the actual creation of the planet earth nor of the heavenly bodies, but of the ordering of the things pertaining the earth and its skies.
Nevertheless, God did indeed create all the material universe (Isaiah 44:24), and indirectly, through his firstborn creature (Colossians 1:15), God brought forth all living creation both in the invisible realm as well as in the visible realm, both in heaven and on earth. -- Colossians 1:16.
