(2) How do we know that God exists?
(2) The one dwelling above the circle of the earth, hangs the earth upon nothing. (Isaiah 40:22; Job 26:7)
We know that Yahweh (Jehovah) exists because we see His works, both in the material creation, as well as in His divine plan. This may not be enough for athiests and/or agnostics, but, God is not interested in convincing everyone on earth that He exists at the present time. In the millennial age, all will KNOW that he exists. Nor is it the main mission of a Christian to try to convince athiests and/or agnostics that God exists; God will do that in due time.
The very fact that mankind in some way or another venerates (whether they call it this or not) something or some one(s), etc., offers a general proof that God exists. Today, a person's "god" is often one's own personal goals, which amounts to self-veneration. Nevertheless, the very fact that we have so many religions provide evidence that man is equipped with a desire to worship.
Not only is there is desire of man to worship, but also we have the religious experience of many people that prove that there is a spirit world; even the work of the demons offers proof that there are spirit beings, as many have had experiences with various forms of spiritism. Thus, indirectly, their activity offers proof that God exists.
Of course, we also have the fact of creation itself. Many have made a religion out of trying to prove that thetr is no creator, and have sought to explain away "the first cause" and the design that is seen in creation as simply being of a freak of what they call "nature".
The very design of man himself is staggering to think about; can something with non-intelligence actually produce intelligence?
While all of these are reasons for believing that God exists, to one who has come to appreciably understand the divine plan as given in the Bible, this is this that is central to their belief that God exists. And this, of course, is through faith which no one who has not received God's holy spirit is going to appreciate. This may not offer any proof to the world at large, but it is the most satisfying proof to the believer.

Does God Exist?
Many of our Christian neigbors, both inside and outside of denominations and sects, have written many books about how we know God exists, and while many of them present a lot of very good information, yet most of them fall short since they fail to understand the divine plan.
