@reslight, I would like to ask you simple questions.
Do you think we cannot serve God and Jesus for God's kingdom without Paul's teachings?
IOW, Jesus did not give us enough information to spread the Gospel to the world?
Jesus did not teach His original apostles that He had the need for Pual's input?
Jesus says He is the Teacher yet NT is primarily consistent with Paul's teachings.
Why is that?
thank you.
Evidently, Jesus made Paul his apostle and made extensive use of Paul to write his words of wisdom given to him, as Peter stated. (2 Peter 3:15) The scriptures do not tell us why Jesus chose Paul to write most of the New Testament. Peter, however, certainly did not reject Paul's writings but instead spoke that Paul had written according to the wisdom that had been given to him.
{2 Peter 3:14} Therefore, beloved, seeing that you are expecting these things, be diligent to be found in peace, without spot and blameless in his sight.
{2 Peter 3:15} Regard the patience of our Lord as salvation; even as our beloved brother Paul also, according to the wisdom given to him, wrote to you;
{2 Peter 3:16} as also in all of his letters, speaking in them of these things. In those, there are some things that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unsettled twist, as they also do to the other
Scriptures, to their own destruction.
{2 Peter 3:17} You therefore, beloved, knowing these things beforehand, beware, lest being carried away with
the error of the wicked, you fall from your own steadfastness.
{2 Peter 3:18} But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and forever. Amen.
