Jesus, while he was in the days of his flesh (Hebrews 5:7), was a mortal sinless man -- the man, Christ Jesus -- who died for our sins. It was a sinless man (Adam) who became a sinner and thereby who brought death upon all of his offspring; it was a sinless man who never sinned that took the wages of sin upon himself so as to free Adam and all his descendants from the condemnation of death. -- Isaiah 53:4-6,10,12; Matthew 8:17; 20:28; 26:28; Mark 10:45; John 1:29; 3:16,17; Romans 3:25; 4:25; 5:12-19; 6:23; 1 Corinthians 15:21,22; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 1:4; Ephesians 5:2; 1 Timothy 2:5,6; Hebrews 9:28; 10:10-12; 2 Peter 2:24; 3:18; 1 John 2:2; Revelation 1:5.
