RNC Partner Wants Christianity Declared United States' Official Religion
rlbible.com/?p=11280
According to this report, David Lane and/or RNC want to declare Christianity the offical religion of the United States.
My comments: This seems to me to be some of the final attempts of Babylon to regain and/or more than regain the power once had in the United States. I would hardly think that David Lane means that he would want Biblical Christianity to be the official religion, but more than likely he is referring to man's traditional concept of Christianity. Indeed, Jesus had never told us to make him or his church the official religion of any of this world's nations. Thus, this idea goes beyond Jesus' commands, and in some ways contradicts what he commanded.
If such an proposal were to become a reality, it would probably, in effect, mean the end of freedom of religion except for the recognized state religion, or perhaps it would make approval of freedom of religion subject to the approval of this state religion. Could this happen? Possibly. It is in God's hands as to what he might permit (not that he would approve of the teachings of such an "official religion" of the US).
Luke 21:25 - on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring. New King James Version.
The roaring of the waves of seas illustrates how the peoples in general are all clamoring for what they believe to be their rights; most selfishly wish for their fancied rights to upheld, even if it means suppressing the rights of others. Carnal warfare is often the result, and the prophecies do refer to this. We do not rejoice in the trouble, but this part of the signs of Jesus' parousia. We know that the trouble will eventually result in the blessings of mankind, once the lessons have been learned. Satan is to be abyssed (Revelation 20:1-3), and then all nations will be able to learn Jehovah's ways. -- Isaiah 2:2-4.
