We have been asked: Why in John17.5 JESUS CHRIST And now O Father,GLORIFY Me TOGETHER with YOURSELF,with the GLORY which I HAD with You before the world was? Evidently the thought is that being read into John 17:5 is that Jesus had the glory of being the Most High before the world was.
John 17:5 does not say that Jesus, before he the world of mankind had been made through him (John 1:10), had the glory that only belongs to Jehovah. Such has to be imagined and assumed. Jesus certainly did have a celestial glory -- as opposed to the terrestrial glory (1 Corinthians 15:39-410 -- before he became flesh. (John 1:1,2,14; 17:5) While he was in the days of his flesh (Hebrews 5:7), Jesus did not have that celestial glory, else why would he be asking for this glory to be returned to him? -- John 17:5
It is claimed that there is only 'one glory', not two glories; one Lord, not two Lords, one King, not two Kings, one savior, not two saviors.
Paul tells us that there is one glory of the celestial and another glory of the terrestrial, and that within these two glories, there are differences of glory. Paul does not assign the symbolic signficance he gives for the various levels of glory of the celestial bodies, but let us assume that the glory of the sun represents the glory of the Most High, and the glory of the moon represents the glory of Jesus, and the levels of glory of the stars represent the levels of glory of the joint-heirs with Christ and the angels. The glories are not the same.

There is only one whom Jehovah has made lord over the church and the world; there is only one whom Jehovah has given the glory of sitting at His right hand; there is only one that Jehovah has sent to be the savior of the world. Nevertheless, Jesus, in being made Lord of lords and King of kings (Revelation 17:14; 19:16), is, by the very nature of the titles, made king over others who are also kings, and also "lord" over others who are also lords. In all this, however, Jehovah is the source of the power and authority that is given to Jesus. -- 1 Corinthians 8:6; Ephesians 1:3,17-23; 4:6.
